In January 2020, Stephen planted a church at the Hope Center in Graceland Community, near Mt. Barclay. The church which started with 23 adults and 35 kids, now has a membership of more than 100 adults. Pastor Remington Leaman and Pastor Rufus Seboe are teaming up as copastors.
The church currently meets in the Hope Center Christian School's auditorium for worship, while considering to build her own worship edifice when funding is available.
As a first church in Serve Africa's Hope Center initiative, Hope Church is expected to play a strategic role in giving birth to several other church plants.
