Grace enrolled into our program in 20216. Grace could not read and write. Grace couldn't speak English.
Grace came from a home severely struck by poverty. Her parents could not afford to feed her. She woke up everyday with no idea if she would have food to eat. And if she was blessed to have food, it was only one meal that came around 7pm before she went to bed. Grace's first time sleeping on a mattress was when we took her in.
Today, Grace is in 10th grade at the Hope Center Christian School near Mt. Barclay, Liberia.. She sings on her church choir, plays drum, and leads worship service.
Grace's goal is to become a professional nurse. With a career, Grace envisions a future where she can help her country and other less fortunate children.
Through you, our partners, God is building a generation of youth who will become agents of positive influence and spiritual change in our world.
THANK YOU.
New Church Building
In 2019, this growing little church in Zean Old Town (Nimba, Liberia) had no roof and rain would pour into the building. The church is pastored by one of our village pastors. With the help of our partners, they now have a bigger and better building with metal roof.
Beatrice Earns a Nursing Degree
