We provide education (including scholarships), healthcare support, shelter, and food assistance to 1,000 orphans and vulnerable children in Liberia. Our goal is to reach thousands of kids. We provide these services through our Hope Centers. Each Hope Center contains three basic facilities: residential buildings for accommodation, a school, and a church. We also build health facilities alongside the Hope Center to provide for the health needs of orphans, women from poor communities, and other needy persons from surrounding villages.
AREAS OF FOCUS: HOME/SHELTER With a home, orphans have a chance of being reintegrated into family and society. This will ensure full restoration of their self-esteem, hope, and the ability to get on pal with other children with opportunities. The ultimate outcome is that they will succeed and become productive persons.
SCHOOL We operates the Hope Center Christian School that provides free education to children. The school has an enrollment of 500 students as of 2024 school year. We also operate a second school in Larpea # 1 Town (Nimba County) with an enrollment of 250 kids.
SCHOLARSHIPS Serve Africa and her partners provide uniforms, books, supplies, and tuition fees for students on the scholarship program. Due to growing demand, reinforced by adject poverty and evidenced by the many requests from poor parents, Serve Africa has increased its scholarship beneficiaries to 1,000. With funding, we seek to pull thousands of children out of poverty through educational empowerment.
The average annual cost of scholarship per child is $360. Your one-time donation or recurring monthly gift of $30 will change a child's life forever.
FEEDING Serve Africa feeds 1,000 children every week. This number represents a small fraction of the number of hungry children who stop at the Hope Center weekly to ask for food.
MEDICAL SUPPORT Another observable characteristic of an orphan experience is living through common diseases like malaria, typhoid, cholera, etc. It is important to us that the medical needs of the kids be addressed promptly and regularly to enable them stay in school, learn, and grow.
The average annual cost of living expenses per child including scholarship is $600. Your one-time donation or recurring gift of $50 will make eternal difference.
