One key challenge many village pastors face is low theological training or no training at all. And due to their growing family and church responsibilities, they can no longer afford to pursue theological studies, especially counting the costs of relocation. Considering how critical theological training is to the ministry works of the church, SERVE Africa has made it a part of her initiatives to conduct Pastors' Training Conferences for pastors and church planters based in the interior. So far, 25 major training conferences have been concluded for more than 1,000 pastors and church planters over the past ten years.
In a most recent (July 2018) Pastors Conferences in Monrovia (Liberia), we trained 25 rural pastors. Beginning 2019, we will commence training 25 select pastors from 25 village churches over four years. A specialized curriculum is being developed for this.
We are soliciting partnership with pastors and professors who have keen interest in developing untrained pastors. This is could be a unique provision for you to make indelible impacts on lives that most need you. We also desire partnerships with churches and organizations with keen interest in equipping pastors.
