Strengthening the economic capacity of pastors is one of our strategies for empowerment. In 2014, Serve Africa bought a palm oil processing machine to help provide income for ten pastors whose primary source of income is oil palm. We also help pastors to make their own small farms and gardens.
Our next goal is to establish an Oil Palm farm on 100 acres of property. We envision this to become our primary long-term source of income and financial independence for our beneficiaries and fellow Liberians.
Palm oil is widely used across the world. Its uses include (1) consumer retail food and snack manufacturing, (2) personal care and cosmetics, (3) biofuel and energy, (4) animal feed, (5) pharmaceutical, and (6) Food service industry.
We are seeking partnerships with individuals, churches, and organizations that are passionate about using agriculture to bring economic empowerment to poor persons.
