Garage Sales

On Friday and Saturday, August 9 and 10, we will sell a collection of items in Yard/Garage Sales. Proceeds from the sales will go towards completing the Hope Center School in Liberia. The school is located in Mt. Barclay Community, one of the poorest areas in Liberia. Because the community lacks a school, there is urgency to complete and open the Hope Center School so that kids can begin going to school, some for the first time. We need at least $4,000 to finish and furnish the school for operation by September. The amount will be applied to the following projects:
• Laying of concrete floor in six classrooms
• Plastering of the interior walls of the building
• Furniture (chalkboards and desks)
• Hand pump for water
• Two toilets for boys and girls
