Thank you! The first set of 10 Safe T Homes® shipped to Liberia have been delivered and fully paid for. We thank our partners for their financial contributions which made this project a success.
With the partnership of GoServ Global, we are building an orphanage (Hope Center), using the Safe T Homes®. The homes will function as dormitories for orphans . These times-tested homes are practical, economical, and efficient for good quality accommodation. Each home has a lifespan of 80 plus years and can accommodate up to ten children.
Our partner, GoServ Global, is heading to Liberia early 2023 to install the homes.
These first ten homes will be installed at our new Hope Center location in Larpea # 1 Town, Nimba County, Liberia. Larpea # 1 Town is situated in a remote northern region of Liberia, close to the Ivorian border. The homes will benefit orphans and underprivileged children who are the hardest hit by poverty in the country. Serve Africa's Hope Center is a combination of safe homes (housing units), school, church, and a clinic (or birthing center). Children who live at our Hope Center have an opportunity to live in a safe healthy environment, to acquire quality education in an environment fully guided by Christian values, be discipled, and learn vocational skills. Our goal is to reproduce Christian youth who will become instruments of positive influence and spiritual change in Liberia and the world.
As you may know, Liberia remains one of the poorest nations in the world, with an increasing poverty rate of 65%. More than 70% of Liberia's population is unemployed. Hunger, undernutrition, and poor health often go side-by-side with abject poverty. These are the challenges that Serve Africa strives to bring solutions to. With safe homes and nutritional meals, orphans will recover from the devastating effects of poverty, acquire quality education, and become productive godly men and women. We need your support to enable the successfully implementation of this important life-changing project.
Foundation Project
Foundation work on the initial ten Safe T Homes® is now complete at Serve Africa's second Hope Center in Larpea # 1 Town, Nimba County, Liberia.
